Dreaming Big on Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at ME&A

Six children of ME&A employees visited ME&A headquarters in Bethesda, Md., on national Take Your Son or Daughter to Work Day on Thursday, April 26, 2018. ME&A’s headquarters staff joined 37 million Americans bringing kids to their workplace and “inspiring young dreamers to dream big.”

This year was ME&A’s first time participating in the national program, which started 26 years ago as Take Our Daughters to Work Day and became Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day in 2003. The theme for 2018 was “Service Force—agents for positive change,” a theme perfect for the work ME&A employees do as agents for “positive change” in developing and middle income countries around the world.

The young people visiting ME&A were introduced to the ME&A world, had their orientation on the first hour, and toured the offices to see where their parent works and for an introduction to each employee. ME&A also provided the young people snacks in the morning as well as lunch.
