Alexander Dow is a senior project manager with experience in monitoring and evaluating international development programs and supporting them across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He currently manages ME&A’s USAID Central Asia Learning from Evaluations and Assessments for Development (LEAD) platform as well as supports evaluations under several USAID and U.S. Department of State contract mechanisms. His role at ME&A also extends to managing proposals across multiple sectors, including economic growth/trade, water, and climate change resiliency.
Prior to joining ME&A, Mr. Dow worked for RTI International under the international development energy team supporting energy market regulatory, optimization, and resiliency projects. While working in Vietnam for Mekong Economics Ltd, he served as project coordinator supporting new business capture, proposal management, and project implementation on multidisciplinary projects funded by public and private donors including the Asian Development Bank and World Bank related to monitoring and evaluation; water supply, sanitation, and hygiene; energy; and health. Mr. Dow holds an M.A. in Sustainable Development and International Policy from SIT Graduate Institute and has a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University. He speaks Vietnamese conversationally.
