Maria Sierra

Project Manager

Maria Sierra is responsible for the day-to-day operational, contractual, and financial management of USAID-funded projects. She has served as a project manager for ME&A projects for USAID in Armenia, El Salvador, Georgia, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Venezuela.

Prior to joining ME&A, Ms. Sierra worked with Uniaquatech and Puebla Food Bank in Mexico. She supported the research and development team with literature review, data collection, and analysis for a BubbleTech prototype, an alternative technology to purifying water, and optimizing a food bank assembly line to serve food pantries to thousands of families.

Ms. Sierra holds a B.S in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and has a working knowledge of French.
