Sharon Ress

Sharon Ress supports the USAID-funded Global Health Evaluation and Learning Support Activity (GH EvaLS) as a Project Manager. GH EvaLS provides evaluation, assessment, and learning support for health-related projects and activities at USAID/Washington and USAID Missions. Ms. Ress is responsible for supporting GH EvaLS teams in implementing activities within budget, established time frames, and quality standards.

Ms. Ress brings to ME&A experience working with the USAID, the U.S. Department of State, and UNICEF and has supported projects in regions across the world, including sub-Saharan Africa, South Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and East Asia. She has managed evaluations and assessments relating to global health, the environment, the justice sector, and gender and key populations. She has also managed long-term monitoring, evaluation, and learning platform contracts for various USAID country missions. Ms. Ress holds an M.P.A. focusing on social justice and international development from Cornell University and a B.A. in Public Policy from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
