Lenoure Recanatini

Lenoure Recanatini, Chief Development Officer, oversees ME&A’s business development team in designing innovative programs that are grounded in field research to support USAID and other U.S. government agencies and bilateral and multilateral donors. This includes managing proposal development from writing and recruitment to partnership development and budgeting. She brings to ME&A more than 20 years of experience leading business development, program design and reporting, and learning initiatives.

Prior to joining ME&A in 2021, Ms. Recanatini oversaw business development teams for organizations whose expertise spans development sectors, including agriculture, civil society, economic development, education, nutrition, water and sanitation, and infrastructure. She has helped large and small businesses and non-profit organizations strengthen their business development management processes and systems to improve win rates and expand into strategic new geographic and technical areas. Her notable achievements include several small and large awards of grants and contracts of up to $75 million along with the award of several large indefinite quantity contracts ranging from $400 million to $1 billion. She has managed proposal and project teams in Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Haiti, Jordan, Malawi, Rwanda, Senegal, Togo, and West Bank. Ms. Recanatini holds a B.A. in French and Print Journalism from American University.
